Brazilian Rainbow Boa

This Brazilian Rainbow Boa is still young only being three years old, her name is Carmen and she will grow up to 6 feet in length. It is possibly the most popular of the Rainbow Boa's, which come from all across Central and South America. Its popularity is due to its fascinating colouration, which becomes ever more colourful in adult Brazilian Rainbow Boas. All Rainbow Boas have a similar colouration of dark circles and large spots around its body. At night the colouration of the Rainbow Boa is more subdued, but once light shines on the snake, it shimmers once more.
